(All specimens were collected in 1964. Today this quarry is protected by the law.)Gadolinite is a mineral comprising a complex oxide of various rare-earth elements.
The general chemical formula of Gadolinite-(Y) is Y2Fe2+Be2Si2O10
The colour of our specimens is black to dark-brown, Fergusonite is yellow-brown, Tengerite is white.
